Early departure

Sharon arrived in Greenville a day (before her scheduled outpatient check up) because of a high grade fever. She was admitted to St. Francis and is in room 517. Her fever has reduced significantly and she's under observation.

So sorry that you had to return to the hospital a day sooner than planned, but we're very glad to hear that your fever is gone now. I'm sure the doctors have told you that the chemotherapy has the effect of lowering your immune system, which brings on those nasty fevers. Not sure what has been recommended for you, but our friends (the one with the little girl with leukemia) pretty much 'detoxed' their home and added a state of the art purifier to their ventilation system at home. It was a difficult time, and they were running to the ER constantly with fevers, initially. We will pray for protection of your immune system while it is being depleted, because of the chemotherapy that is the key to SHRINKING THAT TUMOR.

We want you to know how much we love you, and that we are praying for you daily!

Thanks for the information on the air filtration issue. I'll look into it.
